kerfuffle 소동, 소란

This is not really common in spoken language. But you do see it in the news. 
It means some chaos,some craziness. 

A: What's all the kerfuffle about?
B: The lady in 407 has an alligator!
A: What? That's crazy!
B: I know, but she says it's her pet.

A: 무슨 소란이야?
B: 407호에 사는 여자가 악어를 가지고 있어!
A: 뭐? 이런 말도안되는 일이!
B: 그니까, 그치만 그여자한테 악어는 애완동물이래.
